2. Hold a Lead Safe Certificate (2 year or 20 year)
3. Have a Local Agent in Charge if property owner is not local to Cleveland

The City of Cleveland is actively enforcing this ordinance by issuing citations up to $200 per day, per unit that is not in compliance with the ordinance. If your property has lead paint hazards and you fail to remediate them, you may also be held liable if a child is poisoned by lead in the property.
